beef stew = love!

Canada Day entry =)

A's experimenting with new (delicious!) recipes. He made me beef stew! Definitely a jump from his hotdog-and-eggs frying days =) Of course, this picture does not do his masterpiece any justice.

I'm not exactly patriotic, but I had left over batter and fondant so here's our tiny Canada Day cake.

So happy that I successfully covered this cake with fondant after many minutes of kneading. I don't own a smoother, otherwise, it would have been a nicer look.
