After a whole day of client meetings, we realized these are the most common questions clients ask about our services:

Why invest in photography?
We always tell our clients that photography is an integral part of wedding planning. If you think about it, the money spent in planning for a special event such as a wedding (reception, cake, gown, decor, favours, transportation, band, intrinsic details) will go to waste if none of these details are properly documented. Sure, there will be plenty of pictures from your guests and family members but these pictures will not be the same as the photographs taken by a professional photographer. When you hire a professional photographer, you are getting much more than a photograph. A photographer who is passionate about their craft invests time, money, technical knowledge and expertise in documenting your most precious moments. These photographs, our works of art, are the ones that you will cherish for years to come.

Over the years of shooting together, we realized that what has kept us going was not simply patience and perseverance, but our love for what we do. We take utmost care and respect in documenting your precious moments as though they are our own. We don't batch process photos, instead we go through them together, one by one, analyzing every single detail to ensure you will receive the highest quality of photographs you deserve. We invest in high quality photography equipment not simply to enrich our business but most specially to satisfy our passion for high quality photographs that you will love and treasure as much as we do. It is of utmost importance that you choose us because you love our photography style because only then will our mutual ideals be most fruitful.

Why have a second photographer?
Most photography companies will charge you extra for a second shooter. We offer it to you free of charge. A second shooter is like having an extra set of eyes to view a different perspective in documenting your most precious memories. 

Do you only photograph weddings?
Certainly not. We offer a wide range of services to cater to your photography coverage needs. We'll also accommodate if you're interested in themed shoots as we have advertised on our website. Want a photobooth? Ask us and we'll set it up for you =)

How much preparation do you take before photographing a wedding or special event?
Lots! As part of our preparation, we request your event itinerary weeks in advance which will allow us to plan for the shots we need to give you the high quality, perfectly composed photos you deserve. We also visit the venues you prefer a few days before your event so we have ideas early on regarding where to place you, in order to save time during the actual event in trying to figure out the best locations to take your photos. We also have a set list of shots we usually carry on the day of your event to ensure that no important shots will be missed in documenting your event. 

We want a themed shoot! What should we bring?
We love themed shoots! If you have ideas regarding the kind of photo shoot you'd love to do, please feel free to talk to us. We'd love to assist you in finding just the right items to include in your photo shoot. If you book a wedding package along with your themed engagement shoot, we will provide the props for your themed shoot. You will still be free to add on any other items you'd want to include in your photo shoot. 

How much would it cost for you to travel to locations outside of Toronto?
Our only requirement for travel is for you to cover our flight and accommodations on top of the customized package you have chosen. 

Do you touch up photos?
Yes, unless otherwise stated. Most photography companies charge you extra for retouching but we do it at no extra cost. We understand that you go through a lot of effort to look your best on your special day so we take it a step further smoothing away blemishes, brightening smiles, minimizing lines and wrinkles as requested. 

Do you carry back up equipment?
Yes, we carry extra camera bodies, flash equipment, batteries and battery chargers on all photo shoots.

Do we have to bring the retainer fee payment on our first appointment?
Certainly not. Our first appointment really is a chance for us to get to know each other. We take great consideration in knowing your vision for your special event personally and getting to know you a little bit better before we even talk about creating customized packages. We also ensure that you are booking us because you appreciate the quality of our work and not simply because we can fit in your set wedding budget. Once you have had a chance to view our packages and choose the one you like, then we can meet again to book your event where you will receive a customized Wedding Contract where all the details of your chosen package will be included. We do not charge you for extra for appointments meant to discuss details of your chosen package. You can also send us your questions and concerns via email which will most likely be the quickest way to have your inquiries answered. 

And lastly, how do we set up an appointment?
In the time of technological devices, there are plenty of ways to set up an appointment. You can email us, text us, Facebook message us or simply call. Our contact info is available through our website. We usually will respond to you within the day, or a couple of hours after we receive your message.
