the birthday series!

I had a great time making these birthday cards. In the world of computers and advanced technology, it's nice to get a handmade card once in a while. Enjoy!

Question about ur homemade cards, which r adorable btw,for the stripes w/ apple,r those 2 separate sheets which u combine together? I hope u won't mind me asking. Thanks

The cardstock actually came with the apple border and I was lucky enough to find it. I love the glitters on the sparkly cardstock as well!

thank you!
i'm sorry if i sound so ignorant, but does cardstock the same as a blank card?

A cardstock is the same type of paper you use for scrapbooking. It comes in 12x12 usually or 8.5x11. So for that particular card, I had to cut it in the size of card I wanted and then fold it with a bone folder. You can buy plain cardstock or patterned card stock

can i ask you something again? sorry to bother .. but for your tags, how did you make the pear looks "springy?" i mean, it looks like its not glued on the paper. what did u use? thank you again!

Hi,

You can either use glue dots or foam squares depending on how "springy" you want it to look.

Good luck!

Thanks August Empress for the cool background!
