The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Sorry for the absence of creative blog posts. I honestly thought March was the start of daily blogging but other things got in the way. We've been busy planning for our upcoming New York trip which I'm very excited about. It's nice to get away every once in a while from the craziness of daily life. This trip will be our very first destination wedding. It just got us thinking of so many possibilities. If it were up to us, we'd be quitting our day jobs and doing this photographing and travelling instead. Wouldn't that be grand! We can only dream =)
I'm very excited about this wedding, because I recently got an amazing upgrade from my trusty Canon 40D to the super awesome 5D Mark II. A will be shooting with his brand new love, Canon's 1Ds Mark III. Excuse our geeky-ness and excitement over our new tech toys. Now if we can only upgrade to an iPad 2..... =)
Don't get me wrong, I love my day job just as much; otherwise, I would have probably switched trades. But my love for weddings is completely different. It's the kind of love that gets me through a whole day of shooting without getting tired (*ehem* Mother Teresa). The fulfillment of knowing I was somehow a part of somebody else's memories brings me such elation and happiness I can't explain. It's moments like this.

From me and A, Thank you for letting us be a part of your most special memories!
Big hugs and kisses to you all =)
